About me
Carole Harris
As a career coach of more than 10 years, I began consulting as a life coach in 2013. Realizing that my clients were most successful when we focused on their career development and progression, I shifted my services to reflect the needs of the community in which I was helping. So with this in mind, in 2014 I started my career coaching services as Harris Consociates (which means partnership). Now, in my 10th year as a career coach, I am transitioning my business to Carole Harris Consulting to reflect the ownership and pride I have for my own resilience and depth of my career.
Within my background, I have experience managing others in hospitality, university housing operations, and human resources. Connecting with co-workers through empowerment, empathy, and supporting professional development, I have been most honored and feel most successful in my positions when others are able to elevate their own careers. In addition, I have taken pride in helping colleagues and clients find engaging positions that align with their goals to achieve success.
I am credentialed in Co-Active Life Coaching, have competency-based interview expertise, and professional evaluation training. I also have experience with Gallup StrengthsFinder assessments. Combining this experience with my coaching abilities, I am equipped to coach clients at various levels of their careers – including college transitions, mid-twenties realizations, career advancements and changes, and goal-oriented realizations and challenges.
Born and raised in the midwest, and most recently living in the east, I have gotten to know many types of clients from all over the country and beyond. The careers and lives I have coached have been at many levels and places within unique journeys. The perspective of each client has broadened my scope of understanding and empowers our consulting services to grow with the developing need for career and life solutions. As I approach the future of Carole Harris Consulting, I take pride in learning from each day and every experience, providing benefit to all current and prospective clients.
